Castellon Cres – large 2 storey rendered brick addition
The most important thing with renovations is knowing how to get the best out of what you have. There is no better example than this beauty. With it’s elevated drive to the open plan kitchen, dinning and living areas, not to mention being able to enjoy our magnificent sunsets and sweeping views to north, south and west, all from the comfort of an arm chair – now that’s living.
This home was built in the late 70’s, but they failed to achieve the open feeling and creating views from the meals and family room (even from the kitchen sink). With a lot of thought given to the design, we removed walls, windows and modernised the entire outlook, including a wrap around balcony with glass panels so as not to obstruct the view. The most challenging thing was the front yard and drive because of the steepness.
